The new Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was presented to the staff of the NASB

To provide the economy with applied scientific developments, innovative solutions and breakthrough projects, to concentrate efforts on more promising areas. These priorities in the work of the National Academy of Sciences were outlined by the new Chairman of the Presidium V. Karanik. He was presented to the staff by Prime Minister. A. Turchin emphasized that the government placed great hopes on the scientific school in the fulfillment of the tasks set by the President. Prime Minister also thanked the previous head of NASB for his work. V. Gusakov had been in office since 2013, under his leadership the National Academy of Sciences achieved many significant results.
