The national teams of Belarus are preparing to compete at the world championships in firefighting sports

From 26 October to 1 November the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the XX Men's World Championship and the XI Women's World Championship in Fire and Rescue sports. The national teams of Belarus will take part in the competition. On the eve of the most significant start of the sports season, Minister for Emergency Situations V. Sinyavsky held a meeting with athletes. Rescuers will compete in 4 disciplines: two individual — climbing an assault ladder and overcoming a hundred-meter obstacle course; and two team — fire relay and combat deployment. This year, almost 20 countries will participate in the championship. Belarus is among the favorites of the race. Last year the national team brought 9 sets of awards from China.
