The National Bank presented commemorative coins and a banknote of Br80 denomination
The National Bank of Belarus presented commemorative coins and a banknote for the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Museum of the Great Patriotic War. This is not the first series for the anniversary on 9 May, but for the first time it is supplemented with a banknote. The circulation is 80.000 pieces. Coins in silver version — 2.500 and in copper-nickel — 5.000 pieces. The head of the National Bank noted the demand for such unique copies. The call centre has received many calls from Belarusians. Foreign delegations are also showing interest — the guests want to take such souvenirs back home. Sales have already started today. The queues at the box office started to fill up yesterday. Collectors are also coming from all corners of Belarus. There is a restriction — one person can buy 5 banknotes and 1 coin.
