The memory of Kyrgyz soldiers who fought for the liberation of Belarus was honored in Vitebsk region

A solemn event was held in Beshenkovichi district of Vitebsk region, on the territory of the memorial complex "Uzrechye". In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and in memory of the Kyrgyz soldiers who participated in the liberation of Belarus, a winners' square was laid out. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Erbol Sultanbayev honored the memory of the fallen countrymen. Among those buried in the mass grave was 21-year-old Jumash Asanaliev. He was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
