The meeting of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the CIS member states was held in Minsk

Representatives of the Armed Forces of almost all CIS member states gathered in Minsk for a meeting of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the CIS member states. A number of issues of multilateral cooperation in the military sphere were on the agenda, many related to security in the region and aimed at strengthening the national Armed Forces. The prospects for joint exercises, the organization of training of troops, taking into account the experience of conducting combat operations in modern conditions and the development of priority areas for improving field training, strengthening cooperation in a number of areas were also discussed. Special attention is paid to coordinating actions in case of emergencies and threats related to cross — border crime.
