24.06.2025
The fight against corruption is a priority, not only for the law enforcement system, but also for the entire society. This was stated by the Belarusian Prosecutor General Andrei Shved, speaking at a coordination meeting on combating crime and corruption. Over the past few years, the level of corruption has decreased by about a third, and today a little more than a thousand such facts are revealed per year. Most corruption-related crimes are committed in agriculture, industry, construction and trade. As the Prosecutor General noted, it is important not only to take counteraction measures, but also to eliminate the prerequisites for corruption.
