The Law "On Real Estate Activity" has been adopted in Belarus

Realtors in Belarus will work under new rules. They will be able to start recertification from mid-June. This is a prerequisite for work in accordance with the new Law "On Real Estate Activity". The Chamber of Realtors will be created in Belarus. It will include specialists, who will confirm their qualifications. Only its members will be able to legally work in the market. Real estate agents will be abolished. This refers to employees who study the market, show real estate objects to clients, but can't make deals. Such specialists need to undergo training and pass an exam — thus providing a simple procedure for the transition of agents to realtors. Now a real estate organisation can provide paid services to only one client in one deal — either the seller or the buyer. It is inadmissible to charge additional amounts for the same actions from the other party to the contract.
