The K. Marx Library in Mogilev has received a grant from the President to implement an inclusive publishing project
05.02.2025
The library plans to create an entire book collection printed in Braille in a special format. It will include works written by visually impaired people and visually impaired people from all over Belarus. This is not the first experience of realisation of inclusive projects in the region at the expense of the presidential grant. For example, the Mogilev Children's Library equipped a hall with the symbolic name ‘Touching’. Visitors of the library with different degrees of visual impairment can literally touch Belarusian architectural monuments. 3D models, audio lectures and brochures in Braille help in this.
