The "Japanese Garden" opened in the Central Botanical Garden

A part of the East in the Belarusian capital. The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences has opened a new exposition "Japanese Garden". It is a cosy house where tea ceremonies will be held very soon. A water cascade adds colour and atmosphere of an oriental garden. The exposition includes typical plants such as sakura trees, ornamental-leaved and beautifully flowering shrubs, conifers moulded according to the traditional Japanese pruning technology — "niwaki". The flora and architecture of the Land of the Rising Sun is the author's idea of designers and architects of the Botanical Garden.
