The issues of interaction in the banking sector of Belarus and Russia were discussed in Vitebsk

The Interbank Currency Council of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation held a meeting with the participation of heads of financial institutions. As it was noted, this format proved to be an effective tool for efficient work. Among the main tasks of the Interbank Currency Council are the preparation of interstate agreements in the field of banking activities, harmonization of the regulatory framework to create equal conditions for economic entities of the two countries, as well as the preparation of recommendations on the development and implementation of coordinated monetary and foreign exchange policies.
