The issues of bilateral military cooperation between Belarus and Libya were discussed in Minsk
The House of Officers hosted a meeting between Minister of Defence of Belarus Viktor Khrenin and Chief of Staff of the Libyan National Army Ground Forces Saddam Haftar. Even at the beginning of the meeting, the head of the Belarusian Ministry of Defence personally told the high-ranking guests what the Armed Forces of the country are today, as well as how the process of combat training in the troops is organised. During the meeting, it was stated that Libya is interested in establishing strategic cooperation with our country. The ability to preserve peace and tranquility, as Belarus does, is an example to which many countries aspire. This was noted by Supreme Commander-in-Chief Khalifa Haftar at the meeting at the Palace of Independence.
