The international scientific conference on microbiology opened in Minsk

The XIV International Scientific Conference on Microbiology has started in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The event is dedicated to the 50^th anniversary of the specialized institute and covers the issues of physiology, biochemistry, genetics of microorganisms, as well as the development of technologies for agriculture, medicine, industry and environmental protection.
More than 300 scientists and specialists, representatives of biotechnology companies from Belarus, Russia, USA, Cuba, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are taking part in the conference. The event will include a round table to discuss the prospects of cooperation between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and an exhibition of developments of the Institute of Microbiology and biotechnology companies.
