The "Give the forest a new life!" campaign starts
To restore and preserve the country's green heritage. Today, the campaign "Give the forest a new life!" starts in Belarus. The campaign, aimed at forest restoration, will be held for the second time. This year it will be held under the aegis of the Year of Improvement and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Within the framework of the campaign the emphasis will be placed on the restoration of windblown and fallen forested areas. It is expected to be supported by tens of thousands of Belarusians. To take part in the action, you need to contact your local forestry. The industry institutions will provide volunteers with the necessary tools and planting materials. Last autumn, the President personally launched the initiative. About 80.000 Belarusians took part in the first stage of the campaign.
