The first military echelon from Russia arrived in Belarus to participate in the Zapad-2025 exercises

Representatives of the Russian Armed Forces were greeted in a solemn atmosphere in Belarus. The joint strategic exercise Zapad-2025 is the main combat training event for the Belarusian army this year. During the maneuvers, new forms and methods of using military units will be worked out, which are based on the analysis of modern military conflicts. Such exercises are held on a regular basis with a frequency of once every two years, alternately on the territory of Belarus and Russia. The Zapad-2025 exercises will begin in mid-September. Currently, Belarusian and Russian military personnel are conducting the final phase of training. The areas of deployment of troops have been agreed upon, and the training grounds where the exercises will take place have been identified. Everything is ready to receive the incoming troops.
