The festival "Alexandria Gathers Friends" will be held on 5 July

Preparations are underway for the holiday "Kupalye". Its holding was discussed at a meeting of the organising committee in the Council of Ministers. This year it is the 16^th anniversary of the festival. Over this time it has become a cultural brand of the country. Every year thousands of guests come to the bank of the Dnieper River to celebrate the Kupala night in a bright and original way. The large-scale festival "Alexandria Gathers Friends" is also visited by the Head of State. The venue will remain unchanged this year, the organisers promise. However, new performances and venues will be added to the scenario. Each region of our country will be represented at the festival — with its traditions and landmark enterprises.
