The conference of the 900th anniversary of Saviour and St. Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk was launched

Belarus remembers its roots, honors traditions and relies on the solid foundation laid by our ancestors. This was stated by Vladimir Karanik Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, at the opening of the International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 900th
anniversary of Saviour and St. Euphrosyne Convent. For two days in Polotsk they will talk about traditional spiritual values and the role of the Saviour and St. Euphrosyne Convent in the history and culture of Belarus. More than 300 participants gathered at the large international forum. Among them are scientists, academicians, historians and cultural experts from Belarus and Russia, young people and representatives of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
