Territorial defence training camps

Countering drones will be practiced during a territorial defence training camp in Brest region. According to the Ministry of Defence, the planned activities with those liable for military service started today. The Ministry specifies that the main attention during the training camp will be paid to the interaction of territorials with the units of the Armed Forces of the country, in particular, it concerns the use of UAVs. For Belarus, training manoeuvres with the territorial troops are a usual thing, they are held regularly in different regions. But the territorial defence is not part of the Armed Forces of Belarus. The structures are headed by regional governors and the mayor of Minsk.
