State Border Committee of Belarus and UNICEF to strengthen cooperation
18.04.2024
The prospects for cooperation were discussed in Minsk. During a working meeting between the leadership of the State Border Committee and a representative of the United Nations Children's Fund in Belarus, the parties agreed on the importance of protecting the rights of minors, regardless of their citizenship and migration status. Children who cross or are near borders often need help and have special needs, especially when it comes to migrants and refugees. This is a vulnerable category. Cooperation between the State Border Committee and UNICEF will help systematize assistance to them.
