Specialists continue to eliminate the consequences of bad weather in the Minsk district
All emergency recovery work to eliminate the consequences of the storm front in Kolodishchi has been completed. The Ministry of Energy reported that the electricity supply to consumers in the village has been fully restored. The joint forces of the Ministry for Emergency Situations and the forestry have cleared about 3 km of wood debris on 6 sections of highways. The work continues. The true scale of the disaster was inspected from the air yesterday by the Presidential aide, rescuers and representatives of local authorities. Almost 1.800 trees were knocked down, and strong winds uprooted about 80 hectares of forest. Insurance companies are assessing the damage caused by the disaster. A headquarters has been established to eliminate its consequences. Local residents are taking part in the restoration work.
