SCO observation mission recognized the presidential election in Belarus as transparent and democratic

This was stated by Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, head of the SCO observation mission at the presidential election in Belarus, at the CEC Information Center. The SCO mission worked for 5 days during this election campaign. The voting process was recorded by 17 observers from 7 member states of the organization. The draft statement of the SCO observer mission has been prepared. According to Nurlan Yermekbayev, it reflects that the elections were held in accordance with the national legislation and international obligations of Belarus.
