School support payments begin in Belarus

Support for more than 116.000 families will be a great help in preparing for the start of the school year. About 240.000 schoolchildren from large families will receive one-time financial assistance. The amount of payment for each student is 30% of the minimum subsistence budget. The Ministry of Labor noted that for financial assistance you need to contact the local authorities for labor, employment and social protection. In Minsk and some districts of the Brest, Vitebsk and Grodno Oblasts, you can apply at the child's place of study.
