Requirements for labor migrants have changed in Belarus

Before concluding an employment contract, migrants will have to pass an exam in knowledge of the Belarusian or Russian language. Testing will be conducted twice a month. The number of attempts is not limited. The new requirements apply to those applying for the positions of driver, salesperson, hairdresser, administrator, doctor, nurse. However, the legal innovations do not apply to labor migrants from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. Detailed information is available on the portal of the State Employment Service. Currently, more than 21.000 labor migrants work in Belarus.
