Rehearsals of the parade for the 80th anniversary of the Victory are underway at Lipki Airfield
02.04.2025
This year's celebrations will involve more than 4.000 servicemen and over 240 units of wheeled and tracked vehicles. The Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry for Emergency Situations, the Investigative Committee, the State Border Committee and cadets will present their parade units. For the first time cynologists with dogs will take part in the parade. Part of the event, the Ministry of Defence noted earlier, will be based on some elements of the 1945 Victory Parade in Moscow. This year's parade will consist of two equal parts: historical and modern. The legendary T-34 tanks will parade in the front rows. They will be followed by armoured vehicles, samples of communication and electronic warfare. For the first time guests of the parade will see the famous tanks with machine guns.
