Rehearsals for the military parade begin in Belarus

Rehearsals for the military part of the parade for 9 May will begin on 18 March. Within 5 weeks, a mechanized column will be trained at the airfield Lipki near Minsk. This was reported in the Defense Ministry. Traffic will be temporarily (about an hour) restricted in the capital due to the movement of equipment to the place and back. Earlier, the assistant to the head of the Defense Ministry Leonid Kasinsky announced a new concept of the military parade. According to him, there will be 24 columns, foreign servicemen from friendly countries, including Russia and China, will take part in the parade.
