Prospects of cooperation between Belarus and Cuba discussed in Vitebsk region

Industry, medicine and culture are possible areas of cooperation between Belarus and Cuba. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez paid an official visit to Vitebsk. During the meeting with the leadership of the northern region they discussed priority areas of cooperation. Food industry enterprises of Vitebsk region are ready to offer baby food, confectionery and breakfast cereals, milk powder and whey to the Cuban market. The visit of the Cuban Ambassador to Belarus took place on the eve of the official meeting of the leaders of the two countries. The upcoming talks are expected to be an important step in strengthening bilateral relations.
