Priorities for the development of the economies of the EAEU countries discussed in Minsk

The EAEU countries are preparing a plan for comprehensive assistance to the development of trade and economic cooperation with Africa until 2027. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Belarus during an expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk. According to Aleksandr Turchin, a constructive partnership with the African continent has great potential. Belarus also sees great prospects in cooperation with Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia. Venezuela, Myanmar and Nicaragua have expressed their desire to become an observer country at the EAEU. The expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council was attended by representatives of the observer countries of the organization — Cuba, Iran and Uzbekistan. Azerbaijan is an invited state.
