People's Artist of the USSR Gennady Ovsyannikov celebrates his 90th birthday

G. Ovsyannikov, the maestro of the Belarusian theater art, celebrates his 90^th birthday. A. Lukashenko has congratulated the People's Artist of the USSR on the anniversary. The President noted that thanks to his talent, skill and boundless love for the Motherland, the actor has written bright pages in the chronicle of modern Belarusian culture. G. Ovsyannikov is an actor of one theater, devoted to "Kupalovsky" since 1957. And his "Tribunal" traveled all over the Soviet Union. The People's Artist, who survived the war in the forests of Klimovichi and saw the Nazi atrocities, wanted to "walk on the sea" courts. But fate turned out differently. He joined the troupe of the Yanka Kupala Academic Theater. And was recognized as the best tragicomist. The actor played 100 roles. The best playwrights wrote for him and under him, he gave character to the heroes of the playwright Makayonka. In his images the actor embodies the best of the national mentality. He still plays in Kupalovsky. In the repertoire — six performances with his participation. In honor of the People's Artist of the USSR today on the stage of Kupalovsky is "Paulinka".
