OSVOD monitors the situation at the reservoirs

Water safety is under special control during these winter days. Only in Minsk region 7 rescue stations are working in a reinforced mode. Representatives of OSVOD and youth public order teams are on duty at water bodies. Despite the persistently low temperatures, OSVOD urges winter fishing enthusiasts to observe safety rules. Divers carry out monitoring on the ice surface. Only in Minsk region, four fishermen fell under the ice in two months. Last year, employees of the rescue station "Drozdy" in Minsk rescued five people. More than 500 were warned about the danger. About half of them were children.
