02.05.2024
Today Orthodox believers celebrate Holy Thursday. According to the Gospel, on this day Jesus gathered his disciples for the Last Supper, washed the feet of those gathered and shared bread and wine with them. Modern priests traditionally repeat the ritual; today, services are held in all Orthodox churches. The Divine Liturgy in the Holy Spirit Cathedral of Minsk was led by Metropolitan Benjamin.
