New stamps with the main shrines of Grodno Oblast have appeared in Belarus
17.07.2025
On the Day of the Liberation of the city from the Nazi invaders, a solemn ceremony of canceling stamps from the "Belarusian Region" series took place in Grodno. This is a postal project of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Republic of Belarus dedicated to the rich historical and cultural heritage of the regions. There are three stamps, an envelope and 6 coupons in the block dedicated to Grodno Oblast. Despite the miniature image, the stamps fit the main shrines of the Prineman land: the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in the village of Synkovichi, the Holy Dormition Zhirovichi Monastery and St. Borisoglebskaya (Kolozhskaya) Church in Grodno. The circulation of the new brand is 24.000 copies.
