Orange danger level declared due to heat and thunderstorms
08.07.2025
Summer is in a consistently unstable frame of mind. The temperature pattern of the upcoming day on 9 July is in orange hues. The color danger level was announced by Belhydromet. Thunderstorms, heavy rains and increased wind gusts of 20 m/s are to blame. Such realities are represented by active atmospheric fronts and a very warm unstable air mass. And on the eve of the storm front, residents of seven districts of the Brest Oblast felt the effects most strongly. 48 towns and villages were left without electricity, 192 transformer substations were shut down. Rescuers eliminate the consequences of bad weather.
