On 9 May, festive events will be held all over Belarus

The main event will be a military parade and a theatrical episode "Let's Live" dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of the Great Victory. It will start at 20:30. Cavalrymen and a wheelbarrow with a machine gun will be seen in the centre of Minsk. Parade units of officers with rifles and battle banners — relics of military units that took part in the Great Patriotic War — will be added. The celebrations in Minsk will end with a festive salute. It will be seen at approximately 21:40. The main site is the square near the hotel Belarus. Salutes will also be given in five districts of the capital — Pavlova Park, Drozdy, Hugo Chavez Park, at the site of Chizhovka-Arena and near the National Library.
