Observers from the Pan-African Parliament noted the openness of the voting process in Belarus

Representatives of the Pan-African Parliament took part in the election campaign in Belarus for the first time as international observers. The delegation emphasised the openness and freedom of the voting process, as well as safety at polling stations. In addition, the observers stressed the high level of organisation of the elections and expressed their readiness to adopt the experience for the electoral systems of African countries. Observers from Algeria, Cabo Verde, Kenya, South Africa, Cameroon and Zimbabwe monitored the presidential election in Belarus.
