New landmarks will appear in Minsk
The construction of unique cultural objects — a new building of the National History Museum and the People's Unity Park — started in Minsk. The centre of the new complex will house the historical museum, the area of which will exceed 28.000 square metres. The building itself will be four-storey with an atrium and ten exhibition halls, all of which will be decorated with spectacular lighting. The exposition of the museum will include unique historical exhibits from antiquity to the present day. The People's Unity Park with children's and sports grounds, active recreation areas will be created around the museum. Now the builders have started pouring the foundation, reinforced frames have been prepared. The new cultural centre will become a national attraction not only for the capital, but also for the whole country. The works are planned to be completed by 2027.
