Neurosurgeons in Grodno test new equipment

Under a cooperation agreement with a resident of the Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park, a NeuroNav-118 neurosurgical navigation system was handed over to a Grodno-based healthcare institution for clinical testing. This device is unique in Belarus. It allows locating pathological brain foci with high accuracy (up to 1 mm) and removing them with conservative surgery. The first patient was a resident of the Shchuchin district. The operation was a success. According to specialists, the introduction of navigation into neurosurgery helps significantly improve the quality of medical care.
