Museums of Belarus held a single free day for students

The agreement on cooperation in the field of museums between the Ministries of Culture and Education was signed in 2022. The agreement has been extended until 2026. And more than 400.000 children (school and college students) annually use this opportunity. Museum complexes all over Belarus take part in the action. There are 160 museums in the country. And there are about 1.500 museums in the institutions of general secondary and additional education of children and youth. Their collections contain more than 3.5 million items. A number of museum exhibits have been included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of Belarus. The country actively supports museum heritage.
