More than 80% of Belarusians trust official statistics

Belarus' National Statistical Committee (Belstat) summarised the results of 2024. There is no multidimensional poverty in Belarus, and the wage gap between men and women is 5.8%. Statisticians have also studied the domestic tourist flow. In 2023, it will amount to 19.8 mln people. A lot of work has also been done by the UN. In particular, it was possible to place real national data on many indicators in the Global Database. In general, over 80% of Belarusians trust the data of the Belstat. Belarusian citizens were most interested in labour statistics.
