More than 1 mln coins donated to Russia's museum to create a monument

As part of the "Living Memory of Grateful Generations" campaign, more than a tonne of coins was donated to the Victory Museum in Moscow for the creation of a monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The project involves the creation of three monuments. The first one has already been installed in the Belarusian capital in 2022, while the second — in 2024 in Brest. The third memorial is planned to be installed in Moscow. Museums from different regions of Belarus and Russia have joined the action. Almost 1 mln coins will be made into a single alloy, which will be added to the memorial. It will be returned to Belarus and Russia in the form of ingots.
