Minsktrans temporarily cancels flights to Vilnius until it receives the necessary documents
12.08.2025
The cancellation of regular buses from Belarus to Lithuania and back is related to the Fierce Wolf exercises, which are taking place on the border between the two countries until 22 August. On 12 August Minsktrans announced that it was temporarily canceling individual bus services between the Lithuanian and Belarusian capitals. Some Minsk–Vilnius–Minsk routes will be suspended from 14 August. It is noted that the suspension of flights is temporary and will last "until the necessary permits are received." Earlier it became known that the Lithuanian carrier Eurolines also canceled most of the bus flights on the routes Vilnius–Minsk and Minsk–Vilnius.
