Ministry of Defense: The Zapad-2025 exercise is unprecedentedly open

The Zapad-2025 exercise is unprecedentedly open, and we pose no threat to anyone. This was stated today by the assistant to the Minister of Defense of Belarus. V. Revenko noted that last year all 56 OSCE states were notified about the largest military activity on the territory of our country. In addition, in April of this year, the concept of the exercise was revised. The participation and number of personnel and equipment were halved, and all maneuvers were moved deep into Belarus. The key episode of the Zapad-2025 exercise took place at the Borisovsky training ground. The scenario of the concept allowed the military of the two countries to practice defense issues, repelling airstrikes, using electronic warfare systems and UAVs.
