19.03.2025
It is now possible to enter the country only by car or bus. Thus, the Latvian authorities approved the Interior Ministry's proposal to close the border crossings "Paternieki", "Grebnevo" and "Terehovo" for pedestrians and cyclists on 19 March. The first one is located on the Belarusian side — "Grigorovshchina", while the last two — on the Russian side. It should be noted that the movement through the checkpoints "Paternieki" and "Grigorovshchina"has not been carried out on foot before. The State Border Committee recommends participants of international traffic to take into account the new rules when planning trips through these checkpoints.
