Large-scale trade in school supplies begins in Belarus

In the upcoming school year, 1.5 million schoolchildren will sit at their desks, about 90.000 of them for the first time. School fairs will be organized all over the country. There one can buy everything that a student should have: from notebooks and a school bag to a tie and a jacket. For the new school year country's enterprises will produce about 1 million units of school products. Taking into account the unsold leftovers of previous years, the total volume of goods on the market will be about 20% more than last year. The main manufacturers of clothes, shoes and haberdashery for schoolchildren are leading Belarusian enterprises.
