Increased activity of wild animals is recorded in Belarus
06.03.2025
Drivers should be as vigilant and careful as possible. It's the season of winter feeding completion. Animals are waiting for fresh greens. This causes them to migrate long distances. Going out on the roads and meeting with a car can cause a serious accident. Belarusian foresters try to lead the animals as far into the thicket as possible. To do this, they use solonets — special baits with mineral salt. And road builders, in turn, even before the construction of new highway sections, plan in advance the location of protective nets along the roadside. They lead animals to safer places to cross the roadway. Another option for animal traffic is to install underground eco-roads.
