In 2024, almost 370.000 people visited Belarus as part of organized tours
Infrastructure development, creation of new routes and transformation of the tourism market allow to increase tourist flow and strengthen the position of our country in the international arena. The President has set a task for the next 5 years — to make tourism a national project. After all, more and more foreigners choose our country for vacation. According to the Belstat, last year, almost 370.000 people visited Belarus as part of organized tours. Russians are in the lead (more than 355.000 people). The second place is occupied by Latvians (more than 4.000 people), while residents of Türkiye (about 1.500 people) round off the top three. Last year, excursion groups from China, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan also came to Belarus. In addition, over 41.000 foreigners have visited our country without visas since the beginning of the year. And since April 2022 — more than 1 mln people. Most of them are from Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. We shall remind you that the President decided to extend visa-free entry for citizens of 38 countries until the end of this year.
