Gomel dancers won the International Ballroom Dancing Tournament

Young people from Gomel became winners of the International Ballroom Dancing Tournament. The competition was held as part of the world championship in Kazakhstan. The pair of Yaroslav Tereshchenko and Vera Proskushkina performed in the age category up to 10 years old. During the two days of the tournament, the athletes beat about 60 opponents. Gomel athletes won fourteen gold and one silver medal in several categories. The programme included European and Latin American directions, as well as all-round competition. In total, the dancers presented 12 numbers to the jury.
