From 1 May, changes that will strengthen social guarantees for soldiers-internationalists will come into force

Military veterans of combat operations are entitled to free provision of medicines, technical means of social rehabilitation, free sanatorium-resort treatment and recuperation, as well as extraordinary service in health care organizations. In addition, the retirement age has been reduced by 5 years for veterans of combat operations who became disabled in peacetime. This innovation will affect more than 2.000 people. In total, there are about 21.000 veterans of combat operations in other countries in Belarus.
