From 1 February, Belarus increased state benefits for families raising children, as well as all types of pensions and the minimum subsistence budget
With care for everyone. With the beginning of February in our country the payments in the social sphere have increased. It is connected with the increase in the minimum subsistence budget. Now it is almost Br448. This means that the growth of income will be felt by both pensioners and mothers who are on paternity leave. A number of allowances are traditionally increased after the minimum subsistence level. Lump sum payments at the birth of a child have become more substantial. Now the first child is entitled to Br4.476. And at birth of the second child and subsequent children — almost Br6.267. Other children's payments are subject to recalculation, which are calculated not from the minimum subsistence budget, but from the average salary in the country. And this month, according to experts' calculations, people of older generation will receive an average of Br930. The Presidential decree increased all types of labour pensions by 10%.
