Free travel in Minsk public transport

Travel in public transport in Minsk on the main day of voting on 26 January will be free of charge. This applies to all ground transport — buses, trolleybuses and trams. Such a decision was taken for the convenience of the capital's residents on election day and to improve the access to polling stations. Metro passengers will also be able to take advantage of free travel. The movement of trains will be organised according to the weekend schedule.
