Experience and prospects for the development of the electoral system
The results of the election cycle 2022-2025, as well as the practice of applying the updated electoral legislation in the conduct of elections were discussed by the participants of the seminar in Minsk. Chairman of the Belarusian Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko said that the past elections in Belarus complied with all the principles of legislation and norms defined by the world community. We have shown the whole world that we are always ready to defend our country and ensure the progressive development of Belarus in the interests of the people. Igor Karpenko also emphasized that within the next two years proposals for possible amendments to the Electoral Code will be worked out. We will continue to adopt the experience of our colleagues from the CIS countries.
