Emergency crews are restoring power supply

A nighttime thunderstorm and squally winds led to power outages in more than 60 settlements in Belarus. Trees fell in Mogilev, as a result of which power lines and communications were cut off, and the energy supply system was disrupted. Emergency crews have been set up to clear tree debris and restore power lines. Vitsebskenergo continues emergency recovery work to eliminate the consequences of the disaster in the Gorodok district. A powerful wind passed here the day before, wind gusts reached 80 km/h. 30 buildings were damaged. In the Orsha district, the power supply of 59 transformer substations in 22 settlements was disrupted.
